Businessman, neighbor, and third-term commissioner from Lusby.

Mike Hart has represented Calvert County's 1st District on the Board of County Commissioners since 2014 and is currently serving his third term.

A longtime Calvert County businessman with more than 30 years of experience, Mike owns and operates Patuxent Wine & Spirits and Barrel 9 in Lusby. He has also been an active supporter of charitable and educational organizations throughout the county.

Mike lives in Lusby with his wife and family.

Responsible Development

Mike has raised concerns about development that could outpace existing infrastructure, particularly large-scale residential development in the Lusby area.

Data Center Accountability

Mike supports a moratorium on data center development, an independent study of potential impacts, and giving Calvert County residents a direct voice in major decisions involving data centers.
